There are several ways you can help the Baldwin Humane Society. We are always open to suggestions on other ways to help our animal community. Explore the various opportunities to volunteer or reach out directly to discuss other ways you can get involved.

Volunteer Time
Baldwin Humane Society was the first county-wide animal welfare agency. Because we are a not-for-profit, volunteers are fundamental to our success. There are numerous ways to get involved with our organization.
Foster Care
By fostering a pet, you are allowing us to save even more animals by making space available in our adoption center. We provide the medical care; your responsibilities are to provide a safe, secure, and stable environment.
Pawsitive Therapy
Since 1993 our pet therapy program has been making visits to nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Baldwin County. We need volunteers with friendly pets (and current vaccinations) that get along well with people and other pets.
