Pawsitive Therapy

Since 1993 our pet therapy program has been making visits to nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Baldwin County. PAWSITIVE THERAPY needs volunteers with friendly pets (and current vaccinations) and who get along well with people and other pets. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesdays we visit Oakwood Nursing Home in Bay Minette, Golden Living in Fairhope and William F. Green VA Home in Bay Minette. "TEAM 2" ON THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH

In 2011 we created "Team 2" of Pawsitive Therapy because of the demand from local assisted living facilities. "Team 2" meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Baldwin House and The Blake. In 6 months "Team 2" has devoted 73 volunteer hours to taking their dogs to the Malbis assisted living facilities.
