The Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!) is hosting the third annual Howl-O-Ween Spooky Pooch Parade on October 23, 2010, at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Click here for printable poster.
Registration starts at 10:00 am; a donation of $10 enters your pet in the best trick and costume contests. All proceeds go to BARC! and the fundraising goal is $2,000. Click here for registration form.
The Emerald Coast’s Foremost Pet Psychic, Sarah Christopher, will do intuitive readings for pets and people.
“Pur-Furred” vendor booths for pet reflexology, pet sitting, groomers, training, pet portraits and pet foods will be open at Palm Plaza next to the Ferris Wheel. Click here for vendor application.
BARC! will hold a pet adoption.
Best Trick contest starts at 11am, followed by the costume contests for Tiniest Terror (smallest dog) and the Greatest Ghoul (biggest dog). Other contests are Best Kisser and Best Pet/Owner Look-A-Like.
Lisa Mason, an accredited AKC evaluator, will be conducting the trick and costume contests. Lisa recently opened Mason's Mongrel's Dog House raining facility in Elberta.
Ms Senior Baldwin, Joanie Moore, is the guest judge of the contests.
At noon the “Most Spooktacular” costume will lead the Spooky Pooch Parade around the stores at The Wharf.
