"Blondie" the 9-month old lab mix totally enjoyed the spotlight when she was in the studio of Local 15 TV for Pet of the Week on Sept 21, 2011. What she needs now is a fur-ever family with a couch and people who will take the time to pet her alot. Andrea Ramey petted her the entire interview!

1-Eyed Chihuahua "Shorty J"
Amazing rescue story how hikers thought they found a baby armadillo in the woods. It was actually a Chihuahua puppy so infested with ticks that his eyes bulged. After all the pre-adoptive care at the vet, Shorty J had to have an eye removed. He's 5 pounds now and 7 months old and is such a snuggler! He was the Local 15 TV Pet of the Week August 17, 2011.

May 4, 2011, we were guests on Local 15 TV for their Pet of the Week segment on the noon news. "Gerta" is a 6-8 year old German Shepherd mix who is a cherub. Since its Mother's Day weekend, we were able to showcase a "Momma" dog whos physique shows she's had several litters. (She's fixed now that she's a BARC! adoptable.) Someone surrendered her to a local high-kill shelter & we were able to give her a 2nd chance for a fur-ever home.
