ADOPTED!!

Rocky's story is one of luck, compassion and survival.  Poor baby was found badly injured by the side of the road on 4/2/2012 by a good Samaritan who not only got him to the vet, she immediately set to raising the money it was going to take to repair several fractures.  Surgery went well and then this happy, sweet growing pup had to endure weeks of cage rest to let the bones knit.  Everyone at Bay Animal Clinic loves this precious guy and took such good care of him.  He's been through so much and is a total sweetheart and everything you expect of a wiggly, happy, healthy puppy.  We're all very excited he has healed up and is ready to put the past behind him, explore the world and find a new forever family.  We don't know anything about his parents, but so far, we expect Rocky to grow to about 40 pounds.

6/17 update from his rescuer/sponsor/foster mom:  For those of you who may be interested, Rocky is such an amazing dog! He is completely house broken, he sleeps when you sleep, he plays when you play, & if you are just piddlin' around the house he will follow you & just watch you. He is very quick to learn. He played with my German Shepherd this weekend who outweighs him by about 90 lbs & they wore each out playing, wrestling, boxing and trading chew toys, so he is able to get along with other animals very well. He loves riding in the golf cart too!
