Adoptable Pet from BARC

We are a no-kill adoption agency (rather than a shelter). DOGS are boarded at various locations throughout Baldwin County -- either at fosters, vet clinics or kennels -- so an appointment is necessary and is arranged by our dog adoption coordinator. Our CATS can be seen year-round at these retail locations: Old Tyme Feed in Fairhope, PetSmart Eastern Shore Center and the BARC! Office. We also have three by-appointment-only adoption centers in Foley, Spanish Fort and Fairhope. If you have a particiular cat you're interested in, please call our office to find out he is being boarded right now. Our staff and volunteers bring as many animals as possible to adoption events. We are on-site at PetSmart Eastern Shore Center the first Saturday of each month. Our homepage will always give the date of our next scheduled pet adoption.

Maddie and her companion Matt, were found abandoned, cold and with hair so shaggy that you could not see their eyes. Maddie is about 2 to 3 years old and Matt is about 4 years old. They are so cute together and obviously attached, they would love to be adopted as a pair. They are well behaved, house trained and a pleasure to be around. Both are easy to please, happy pups that love attention, enjoy going for walks and walk well on a leash. Matt and Maddie will climb in your lap for a bit of TLC and will love you unconditionally.
spayed/neutered, uptodate with shots, housetrained

We do not ship pets. Potential adopters must be at least 19 years of age, complete an adoption application interview, pay an adoption fee and sign a legally binding adoption contract.
